The Maryland Youth Advisory Council (MYAC) according to Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) is to have 15 MASC members on the council. MYAC is made up of youth from the ages of 14-25 who are appointed to serve a two year term on the council, representing the youth of Maryland.

If you are interested in being named to the council, please download the application below and get all required information to the proper place by July 1st.

Interested in being more involved in MASC? Applications for MASC executive staff are now avaliable. Attached below is a pdf and docment version of the application.

Please carefully review all requirements and discuss with your parents and school if you will be able to fulfill all that is expected of staff before applying.

Deadlines:
6pm May 24th.

Interview:
All interviews for staff will be held at the Maryland State Deparment of Education on June 1st. All applicants are required to interview to complete their application for staff.

The deadline for SMOB applications has passed. Governor O'Malley has appointed Christian Hodges as the Student Member on the State Board of Education for the 2013-2014 school year.
